Back to Indiana

Because Joel had graduate classes in Florida, the rest of us decided we would travel back to Indiana to see the Grandparents. (Yay, Southwest!) It was my first time to fly by myself with two kiddos and I was a little nervous. Jacob was threatening a cold. I thought we might have to cancel our plans, but the idea of telling Jacob and MeMe and Papaw made me push forward. Too much disappointment! It turned out just fine and we had a blast.

After we boarded, the first officer invited Jacob up to the cockpit to check out all of the cool stuff. He showed him how to make the airplane climb, descend, thrust the engines and slow down. He even took his picture! Again, yay Southwest! I love that company!

Once we made it to Indiana, there were many smiles to go around. Paul and Kathy are so wonderful to my children. I can't think of anything much better than being with people who love your children as much as you do.

The next day, we went to KidsCommons in their hometown of Columbus, Indiana. The only thing I can compare it to is the Woodlands Children's Museum only much better. Here, Jacob is making great big bubbles.

Posted by PicasaThey have an infrared camera and a monitor to see the different temperatures of your body. Very cool!

Ummm, you should have flown Continental!!...Just kidding.

I like your blog, guys! Lots of great pictures. We'll have to catch up on the phone soon. I am around home until March 25, yup, a bit of extended vacay...well, we are just a couple days, if not mere hours from delivery, so things are getting exciting up here. Please pray for us (esp. Jo) and check out our blog for the latest...peace!
