This is just cute...

The Woodlands

Last Saturday, we all went to Market Street in The Woodlands. I took this as an opportunity to practice my photography.

I am learning how to freeze the water. I realized I also have to remember to set my white balance. Ooops.

Sara, my sweet animal lover, found a donkey statue.

She loves her Daddy. (I tried to fix this photo's white balance after it was taken-it looks a little weird).

Kissing the donkey and I get the white balance correct-wouldn't you know it!

Jacob is in this weird stage of either making very silly faces or trying to smile and making a grimace. At the table, I wanted a sincere smile. I told him a joke then snapped the picture. I think I got it!

Sick

My baby was sick for almost two weeks. First just with a fever, then a cold. During the cold, she got another fever and a rash that turned out to be roseola.

Houston Zoo

On May 4th, the kids didn't have school so we went to the zoo.

Here, Jacob is poking up out of the ground like a prairie dog.

Sara is showing her love of sea lions after we saw some perform.
